Fall Break

I love fall break. I just wish I had another 3 days. My house is a wreck because I'm trying to organize it. I've pulled everything out in order to put it all in the correct place. I don't have enough correct places! I was going to get ready for my yard sale this week. I haven't even touched that stuff.

I did get all my deadlines met. Taxes are done (extension deadline-Oct 15), DKG nomination form sent, jury duty form returned. I so hope I get chosen for jury duty. It's federal and it's the first time I've been called. I've been wanting to serve on a jury FOREVER.

Blog Class

Now that I've started my blog I figure I need to find out how to do it!  I'm sitting in a class at the high school waiting for us to get started.  Maybe I'll learn all kinds of new and wonderful things to make my blog interesting and beautiful.

Wecome to my blog.  I suspect  postings will be few and far between but I have great news today. 

My nephew, Payt, is engaged!  He asked Heather to marry him Thursday night.  They will be getting married on April 9, 2011.  I am so happy for them.  Prom is that night but it's worth missing for the wedding.  After all it will only be the 2nd time in 25 years.
